Responsible for assisting the Administrative Director of Environmental Safety and Regulatory in planning, facilitating, administering and monitoring all aspects of continuous survey readiness.
The director will serve as the liaison to regulatory agencies and will be responsible for oversight of the day to day activities to enhance institutional compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies.
This includes daily management and oversight of specific aspects of monitoring compliance with Joint Commission standards and NJ DOH hospital licensing regulation; review of monitoring data with recommendations for improvement.
Plus all related job duties as assigned.
Scheduled Days / Hours: 40;
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, nursing or related field; education and experience comparable to leadership peers.
Five (5) years’ experience in an acute care hospital required. Previous experience in regulatory is required.
Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability of sound management and proven leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage the interests of the hosptial, as well as those of the healthcare system.
Ability to organize and perform analytic operations so as to produce relevant statistical data as it applies to hospital planning and budgetary consideration.
Experience in a union environment preferred.
