Performs the functions of a Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit as well as Routine Lab procedures including Evoked Potentials.
Additional duties may include routine EEG, at off-site Brace Road office.
Applies suitable electrodes on predetermined measured positions on the patient’s head and checks their performance.
Uses activation procedure such as hyperventilation, photic stimulation, and sleep.
Obtains the patient’s cooperation for the best performance of these procedures.
When indicated by the circumstances of the EEG recording, monitors on the same apparatus, other variables such as electromyograms, electrocardiograms, electro-oculograms, respiration, etc.
Performs neurodiagnostic testing in In-Patient monitoring unit and keeps Physician notified of any changes.

Prefer graduate of accredited EEG School.
5 years in the neurodiagnostic field and/or experience in epilepsy monitoring unit.
Experience in review and editing of I.P. video monitoring.
Background in digital EEG as well as 5 years under supervision of Registered EEG Tech.
Experience in VEP, BAER, and SSEP recordings.
Successful completion of the examination by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists
