95% of the job will be direct patient evaluation, assessment and treatment.
Other responsibilities Include: overseeing physical therapist assistants, aides and front desk
Function under the direct clinical supervision of the Director of Rehab and will be
administratively accountable to the Practice Administrator and Executive Director.
Further administrative accountability will be to the Department of Orthopaedics for all
department specific matters.
All duties and responsibilities must be accomplished in accordance with the New Jersey
State Physical Therapy guidelines and be in accordance with all applicable hospital policies
Scheduled Days / Hours: weekends and weekdays PRN; License (or Certification):NJ-PT Required; Education:MASTERS Required
Masters in Physical Therapy
Outpatient (Orthopedic) experience is preferred.
Membership in professional organization(s) is desirable.
Oncology or lymphedema preferred.
Strong emphasis will be placed on coordinating and managing the clinical care of patients in a satellite office setting.
Active clinical supervision of Physical Therapy Assistant and administrative supervision of Physical
Therapy Aide will be expected.
Required License/Certifications/ Registration:
Current NJ-PT – NJ Physical Therapist License.
