Epic Beacon Certification.
Epic Willow or Ambulatory Certification is required to get the Beacon Certification
Understanding of Oncology Department Clinical work flows.
Responsible for enhancing, supporting, and maintaining applications within the Cooper
Analyze system requirements and determine system functional specifications.
Gather requirements, provide fit gap analysis and create effective technical solutions for the
Design, validate and confirm new or changed functionality with the supported application
environment that meets customer specifications.
Provide complex qualitative and quantitative analysis on data and information collected as
part of application requirement gathering.
Provide consulting support for customized implementation and installation of the software
and related integration elements.
Work closely with business users and application team to design, build and execute a
comprehensive integration and user acceptance test plan and scripts.
Coordinating the analysis, development of new functionality, testing and implementing
scheduled vendor releases and system upgrades, and fixing system defects.
Work with cross functional teams and Cooper clients by providing education on system
functionality, and configuration of new tools to increase end user productivity within the
Ensure system changes follow change management procedures and protocols.
Create and maintain all documentation for assigned applications.
Scheduled Days / Hours: Monday - Friday
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience in Healthcare IT preferred.
Minimum 4 years hospital based IT experience required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
Experience in healthcare information technology with solid knowledge base of relational databases, programming and file structure creation and transfer preferred.
Experience in in applicable application or system is strongly preferred.
