Short Description

The HR Analyst is responsible for HR analytics, reporting, project management and supporting HR financial management.


The HR Analyst will provide people-related data and analyses focused on ensuring the enterprise is able to make thoughtful, data-driven and human centered decisions.


A core purpose of the role is to develop analytical frameworks, analyze and evaluate HR data to discover and present actionable approaches to key stakeholders and business leaders.


The HR Analyst will work closely with the HR leadership team on a wide range of analytical and project management functions to empower organizational decision-making with high quality data.


  • Provides management support to the HR function in the areas of people metrics, reporting, finance and analytics.
  • Supports the HR leadership team to identify business challenges and use data analysis to help influence changes to the operations, process or programs.
  • Provides resource stewardship support to the HR leadership team as it relates to the HR budgets, billing and oversight.
  • Utilizes technology and analytical tools to develop and analyze enterprise-wide people and other cross-functional data as needed.
  • Communicates findings via formal presentations, standard management reporting artifacts on periodic/quarterly/annual basis.
  • Creates, maintains, and ensures quality assurance of key human resources data sets, reports, and metrics.
  • Serves as the domain expert for human capital analytics.
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts across the HR service areas to promote data governance and stewardship, and to improve overall strategic and operational performance and insight.
  • Collaborates with key partners to develop workforce metrics that align with business needs.
  • Works as the key representative to the external benchmarks and key surveys supporting the HR function.
  • Survey design for qualitative and quantitative insights.

o        Internal Customer Service Survey’s

  • Analyzes large data sets to distill insights and connect disparate ideas into cohesive recommendations and presentations.
  • Automates workforce metrics and dashboards to deliver insights at scale.
  • Creates models to assess trends, project needs, surface challenges, and estimate costs.
  • Designs and tracks project plans to ensure completion of key milestones; integrates with other business processes.


Special Requirements

Minimum 5 years applicable analysis and/or reporting experience including:


Experience using quantitative and qualitative analytical strategies and working with multiple data sources to generate insights from analyses (e.g. dashboards, tables, metrics), answering questions or creating solutions, and manipulating data (e.g., check for data issues, clean, merge).


Experience using data visualization (e.g., tables, charts, graphs) to tell a story and represent analyses to an executive audience.


Project management experience.


Proficient use of Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, and Excel experience.


HRIS systems experience a plus.
