To serve as a resource for other hospital staff in areas of: child development, family
centered care, age appropriate preparation and coping strategies, as well as end-of-life
Scheduled Days / Hours: three 8hrs/wk, every 4th w/e; Education:BACHELOR Required
Bachelors of Arts or Bachelors of Science Degree in Child Life, Child Development, Developmental Psychology, Education, Social work, Therapeutic Recreation, etc.
Completion of 480+ hour internship, as required by the Child Life Council.
Required License/Certifications/ Registration:
Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS), or completion certification within one year of hire.
