Demonstrates institutional knowledge of clinical/financial systems
Has the ability to troubleshoot system issues
Ability to develop user manuals, policies/procedures and reference materials that are clinically relevant
The opportunity to own and enhance Epic Training for Nurses and receiving training in Captivate, the e-learning software
Design, develop, implement and assess informatics skill based learning for clinicians and staff
Works with administrative departments and IT security to enable applications for user provisioning
Design, develop and update clinical training curriculum includes but not limited to classroom, individual, computer based modules
Support design, coordination and delivery of new hire training programs
Set up and populate electronic training environment
Participates in the system testing for new functionality and system upgrades
Demonstrates knowledge of adult education principles
Conducts needs assessments, program evaluations and end user proficiency tests
Prepares class rosters
Maintains associated record keeping documents
Scheduled Days / Hours: M - F 8:30 to 5:00
A minimum of 3 years of technical training experience, or an equivalent combination of technical training & professional clinical experience required.
Instructor-led classroom training &/or experience in other training delivery modes required.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Health Care Administration or related field preferred.
Epic Training Credentialing preferred.
Proficiency w/ Microsoft Office suite required.
