Performs clinical support in an urgent care setting and participates in front desk and registration activities to ensure exceptional patient flow/care and optimize throughput of patients.
This individual will have the unique opportunity to assist in the development and operations of the Cooper Urgent Care Center.
This model focuses on the acute/immediate care needs for unscheduled care.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal and clinical skills are required.
Scheduled Days / Hours: Day of the work week varies; 40 hours per week; weekend and holiday commitment; will work in different locations (Audubon, Cherry Hill, Cinnaminson and Runnemede).
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
License (or Certification): Current Certified or Registered Medical Assistant License or 2 years of experience as a Critical Care Technician or equivalent. American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
Experience: 2 years of experience with front desk operations and/or as medical assistant in a physician’s practice or 2 years of experience as a Critical Care Technician or above.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, computer literate, comfortable with Microsoft Office software.
