The Phlebotomist/EKG technician is the primary person responsible for: a) Collecting laboratory specimens and performing EKGs on patients treated in the outpatient setting, including off site locations and nursing homes and b) Collecting laboratory specimens from hospital inpatients. n age from newborn through older adult.
Scheduled Days / Hours: 40 hrs. per week, varied. High School Diploma or Equivalent required. 1 year experience in phlebotomy/EKG is preferred. Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English). PBT (ASCP) certification highly desirable. This position requires travel to other sites, access to transportation is required.
