  • Short Description

    Interface closely with senior level leadership within all areas of the health system including but not limited to Patient Care Services, Ancillary Services, Support Services and Administration.


    Primary responsibilities will be to facilitate and drive to completion Lean Six Sigma projects, workouts, Kaizen events, and various other facilitations as necessary. Simultaneously manage multiple improvement projects within the health system.


    The scope of this key role will be to optimize all process improvement opportunities utilizing Lean Six Sigma and change management principles. 


    Ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leveraging a process improvement skillset to produce real quantifiable business and or clinical results. 


    In addition, the role will have responsibility for coaching, mentoring, and supporting project sponsors, process owners, and all levels of team members.


    Successful candidates will be responsible for coaching Green Belts and Change Agents and help build an organizational knowledge base and improvement toolkit in Lean Six Sigma.


    Perform various analyses and support one off assignments as necessary.


    Support the Lean Six Sigma deployment and creation of a continuous improvement culture within the Cooper health system.

    Special Requirements

    Scheduled Days / Hours: Monday - Friday


    Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s degree preferred


    Desired but not mandatory - Clinical degress, including but not limited to RN, APN, etc.


    Minimum of (2-5) years’ experience in a leadership role within a health care based organization/hospital or another similar organization.


    Proven Six Sigma, Lean or Project Management Experience preferred


    Proven problem solving skills


    Preferred trained as Lean Six Sigma Black or Green Belt (i.e. ASQ certification, GE Leadership Development Training, Cooper University Health Care or an Accredited University program).  Change Agent trained desired.


    Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.  Meeting facilitation, project management, and proven problem solving skills are highly preferred.
