Support the following performance management and process improvement activities for Cooper University Health Care:
Management engineering - to include the productivity management system, benchmark productivity analysis, administrate position management committee and ad hoc labor expense management initiatives
Operational Support - supporting Senior Operational leadership with focused analyses on improvement efforts and management of administrative projects and efforts.
Facilitate Lean Six Sigma / process improvement teams, workouts, and Kaizen events. Manage multiple improvement projects within the health system
Complete simulation modeling and various analyses including workflow analysis as needed to improve operations and for business decisions
Mentor and coach executives and Department Manager on the use of Productivity Management in conjunction with Process Improvement to improve the performance of the Hospital and/or ambulatory offices.
Manage the Productivity Management System and work with SAP BPC to develop and enhance ongoing reporting, designed to drive results.
Develop education and processes for the effective use of the Productivity Management System. Develop processes and tools for the effective management of staffing (working in conjunction with other corporate departments), including overtime and agency usage.
Develop and maintain productivity standards for health system activities to be used in determining staffing, personnel utilization and cost analysis. Develop processes and tools for Benchmarking and the use of comparative information for budgeting. Recommend staffing levels and division of labor responsibilities based on standards and other comparative information.
Scheduled Days / Hours: M - F 8 - 5PM; Education:BACHELOR Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Health Systems Engineering or another related field, Master degree preferred
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience required; Master's Degree with 5 + years’ experience preferred
Proven Lean Six Sigma and Project Management experience at the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt level preferred
Deep system experience utilizing Productivity and Benchmarking software, statistical analysis software, and simulation software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
