The Regulatory and Safety Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Regulatory Manager and Administrative Director of Safety & Regulatory in planning, facilitating, administering and monitoring all aspects of continuous survey readiness and the Environment of Care (EOC) program. The Coordinatory will be involved in the day to day activities to enhance institutional compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies; coordination of aspects of the EOC program as necessary; taking responsibility for daily management and oversight of specific aspects of the monitoring function; meeting with and assisting work group leaders to identify area requiring improvement, revision of policies and procedures and review of monitoring data with recommendations for improvement; developing and maintaining spreadsheets for regulatory compliance, and promotion of a just culture; plus all related job duties as assigned.
Excellent communication skills are essential.
Scheduled Days / Hours: Monday thru Friday
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Five (5) years experience in an acute care hospital required. Previous experience in regulatory & safety is required.
Current NJ-LPN/RN License preferred
Excellent written /verbal communication and organizational skills
