    A wonderful opportunity for an experienced Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) or Physician Assistant (PA) looking to serve patients in a busy urban emergency department fast track setting.

    • Rotating shifts of: Two twelve hour shifts; every third weekend.
    • Hours: 8am-8pm
    • Work autonomously in our state of the art “iTrack” evaluating ESI level 4 & 5 and low acuity level 3 patients. Opportunity to work in the pediatric emergency department and rotate to Cooper Urgent Care as well.
    • Provide care to a variety of common health conditions for ages 18 and older including suturing, draining abscesses, interpreting x-rays and EKGs, splinting, URI’s, UTI’s, musculoskeletal injuries, etc.
    • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in an Emergency Department.
    • Qualifications include experienced APN/PA from a certified Family APN program or certified PA program with the ability to function autonomously, ability to assess acuity of patients, diagnose and treat common minor illnesses/conditions. Must be board certified and licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey.

    Education: Bachelor Degree in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing or Physician Assistant

    Board Certification: Licensed as Family Advanced Practice Nurse (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

    License/Certifications/Registration: Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse) and NJ-Advance Practice Nurse License with eligibility for DEA and CDS certificates; Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers); Certain specialties may require advanced certification (i.e. ACLS, NALS, PALS). Acute care certification is required.
