    This position primarily provides administrative and analytical support for the Vice President and Assistant Vice Presidents of Ambulatory Operations. Basic analytical support, database creation and maintenance will be required. Extreme attention to detail necessary.


    Must be able to interact with executive level staff in a professional and collegial manner.


    The Data Analyst is responsible for data collection, storage, and analysis. The Data Analyst will aggregate data from institutional and external sources to create a master database(s) that can be queried and geo-mapped. Strict adherence to security protocols and HIPAA compliance is a critical part of this work and the Data Analyst will work to ensure that all data are securely transmitted and stored.


    The Data Analyst will keep the database(s) up-to-date and work with partners to collect and integrate incoming datasets. The Data Analyst will work with the leadership team and collaborating departments/institutions to conduct analyses. The Data Analyst will be encouraged to find creative ways to use quantitative analyses to illuminate trends and patterns in the data, as well test real-life hypotheses.


    The Data Analyst will demonstrate the ability to present information in a concise and effective manner; as well as the ability to work as a team player and collaborate effectively with others.


    The Data Analyst will exhibit a high level of initiative, accuracy and self-direction. They must be able to work efficiently when there are competing priorities and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.




    Special Requirements



    Scheduled Days / Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM



    Bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration or statistics or similar quantitative experience preferred or combination of education and experience.


    .one to three years experience

    Proven ability to analyze data and display results creatively;

    Experience managing and administering a database;

    Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Excel (macros a plus), Word, Powerpoint and Outlook

    Required License/Certifications/ Registration:


    Other Qualifications:

    A keen interested in health care analytics;

    Knowledge of process improvement preferred.

    Excellent organizational skills, oral and written communication skills with strong analytical and follow-through  skills.  Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Must be able to work independently.

    Computer literate, expert Microsoft Office skills; knowledge of Epic EHR preferred.
