The Outpatient Psychologist is responsible evaluating patient’s psychotherapeutic needs, performs psychological testing, and provides psychotherapy for outpatient populations as indicated. The Outpatient Psychologist will focus on offering quality strengths-based clinical services using evidence-based therapy modalities.
Scheduled Days / Hours: Full Time; Monday – Friday; 8:30am – 5:00pm
Graduate of an APA-approved doctoral program (Psy.D./Ph.D.) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
Experience in health psychology/behavioral medicine including related interventions and assessment, research in health psychology-related topics
Required License/Certifications/ Registration:
Current NJ Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Strong leadership skills to aid in supervision of Psychology Fellows, excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment, ability to work in cooperation with multidisciplinary medical team, strong organizational and management skills, liaison for inpatient discharge planning to outpatient services. Bilingual Spanish and English preferred.
