The CIO must be a sound strategic thinker who can plan, develop, communicate and execute the vision of Information Technology at Cooper.
This includes Strategic Planning, Vendor Relations Management, Data Center Operations,
and overall Information Technology management.
Work closely with the executive management team and physicians to develop an
information technology strategic plan for the South Jersey region.
Develop and manage the information systems operating, salary and capital budgets.
Manage vendor relationships by negotiating contracts, monitoring billing and resolving
Develop greater confidence throughout the organization and with physicians in the ability of
information systems to meet the needs of individuals and the entire organization.
Coordinate and provide overall project management for system implementations.
Ensure systems are being utilized to best improve operations.
Ensure corporate policies, procedures and standards are applied to information systems.
Provide direction and leadership in the application of information technology.
Assure that disaster recovery procedures exist, software license compliance occurs and annual inventories are taken.
Maintain and enforce technology infrastructure and process standards.
Assure compliance with JCAHO and all regulatory requirements.
Be fully team oriented and goal directed.
Bachelors Degree, Masters Preferred.
Relevant executive level experience in lieu of formal education.
Minimum of 10 years experience as being a leader role in an IT environment.
