Assists the Registered Nurse in providing direct, indirect,and non-patient care responsibilities. Responsible for the collection of laboratory specimens and performing EKG's. Contribute to quality patient care by serving as a significant member of the health care team. May perform clerical supportfor the patient care unit.Assists the Registered Nurse in providing direct, indirect,and non-patient care responsibilities. Assists patients in dressing/undressing, bathing, or eating. Performs EKG's, collects non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathers vital signs. May perform clerical duties for the patient care unit. High School diploma or equivalent required with prior hospital/unit secretary experience. Multi-skilled Technician training, or enrollment in an accredited Nursing program, or certified nurse?s aide training preferred. Certifications: AHA CPR Certified, CNA Certification preferred.
Scheduled Days / Hours: .PRN days with rotation to nights as needed by the department.
