Short Description

95% of the job will be direct patient evaluation, assessment and treatment. Other responsibilities Include: overseeing physical therapist assistants, aides and front desk Staff. Function under the direct clinical supervision of the Director of Rehab and will be administratively accountable to the Practice Administrator and Executive Director. Further administrative accountability will be to the Department of Orthopaedics for all department specific matters. 

Evaluation, assessment and treatment of patients in the hospital or outpatient setting.Oversite of  physical therapist assistants, aides and front desk staff. Communication with patients, families and other members of the health care team.

Experience Required

1-2 years of experience preferred, but not required

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral Degree in an accredited Physical Therapy program.

License/Certification Requirements

Current NJ-PT – NJ Physical Therapist License.

CPR by American Heart Association certification required.

Special Requirements

Scheduled Days / Hours: Monday-Friday; License (or Certification):BLS Required; License (or Certification):NJ-PT Required; Education:MASTERS Required
