Performs essential duties in one or more sub-specialties of the Clinical Laboratory according to accepted practices.
Provides technical expertise to staff and others.
Acts as Supervisor’s designee in his/her absence.
5 years clinical laboratory experience preferred.
Baccalaureate degree and completion of an accredited medical technology program is preferred.
ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathologists) or NCA (National Credentialing Agency) Registry preferred.
Specialist certification desirable.
