Kelemen 8 is a 72-bed medical-surgical telemetry unit that cares for patients who have diverse and complex disease processes. Medical cardiac patients are prioritized on this unit. The mixed acuity of patients encourages a fast paced, diverse experience for our clinical teams. Kelemen 8 practices an interprofessional model of care involving the expertise where all the care providers where staff require a high degree of competence in assessment, critical thinking and technical skills.
Reporting up through the nursing AVP for Professional Practice, Quality and Innovation, the clinical educator is a member of a dynamic team of masters prepared nurses with a focus on innovative and evidence-based practices that support clinical team members transition to practice as well as ongoing professional development in their individualized units or specialty.
