The Clinical Laboratory Assistant works under the general supervision of the laboratory section manager in support of the Clinical Laboratory Scientists/Medical Technologists and Technicians. He/she performs duties in the technical areas of the laboratory including specimen handling, inventory, maintenance and others as assigned.
3-5 experience preferred as a laboratory assistant or equivalent preferred.
High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Some college coursework in a science field is desirable.
Associate's degree preferred
