Monitors day-to-day task completion by LPNs |
Creates and updates LPN schedules to ensure coverage at all sites |
Oversees phone triage and EPIC In-Basket work collaborating with providers, medical residents, LPNs and medical assistants |
Oversees nurse visits and nurse protocol visit, including the ability to see patients on schedule as needed |
Addresses patient related concerns impacting patient care services such as urgent patient issues, prior authorizations, unanswered messages and nurse visits |
Provides quality assurance for clinical messages and nursing notes |
Participates in process-improvement activities related to phone triage, clinical message taking and follow-up, nurse visits and LPN protocol visits. |
Collaborates with Director of Clinical Practice to facilitate resolution of issues related to LPN clinical functions |
Completes monthly rounding on LPN staff |
Completes 90-Day and Annual Evaluations on LPN staff |
Performs all related duties or special projects as assigned/required |
5+ years recent clinical experience as LPN, preferably in an ambulatory practice
2 years + of supervisory experience preferredHigh School Degree/ Associate Degree Preferred
LPN License Required and BLS through the American Heart Association
