Short Description

Respond to all documentation inquiries related to but not limited to: Coding, charge entry 
     inquiries, IDX registration, scheduling, professional billing, customer service, physician 
     support services.

     Monitors all missing charges for designated areas.  

     Provides problem resolution and analysis reports as required.  

     Effects continuous quality improvement in all requests for additional documentation and            registration information.  

     Responsible for verifying insurances for designated areas and following up as needed.

Experience Required

Preferred minimum of 3 years experience in physician office to include:  front desk operations and medical billing. 

Prefer experience with EPIC electronic health record.

Knowledge health insurance benefits and of third party payer policies and procedures.  

Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.  

Proficient in IDX, Microsoft Word and Outlook.

Exceptional organizational skills. 

Education Requirements

HS diploma or equivalent
