The Maternal Fetal Care Unit consists of 9 beds. This unit specializes in the care of antepartum patients with a variety of diagnoses. These include preterm premature rupture of membranes, preeclampsia, preterm labor, and diabetes. This unit also cares for pregnant and post-partum patients with complicated medical diagnoses in addition to their pregnancy, including but not limited to cardiac complications, sickle cell disease, and substance use disorder.
Some critical care/medsurg experience preferred.
Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.
Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse); Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers); certain specialties may require advanced certification (i.e. ACLS, NALS, PALS).
