Kelemen 10 is a 70-bed medical-surgical telemetry unit that cares for patients who have diverse and complex disease processes. Housed within the unit is a 12-bed Intermediate Care Unit. This subset of patient beds is for the patients requiring more advanced respiratory support and potential mechanical ventilation or more focused assessments and interventions. Kelemen 10 practices an interprofessional model of care involving the expertise of all the care providers. The mixed acuity encourages a fast paced, diverse experience for our clinical teams.
Reporting up through the nursing AVP for Professional Practice, Quality and Innovation, the clinical educator is a member of a dynamic team of masters prepared nurses with a focus on innovative and evidence-based practices that support clinical team members transition to practice as well as ongoing professional development in their individualized units or specialty.
