The Blood Bank Manager oversees all technical, managerial and financial areas of the department. She/he is responsible for ensuring all regulatory requirements of the applicable agencies are met and compliance is ongoing. She/he is able to work in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment in a Level I Trauma Center.
Three to five years progressive clinical laboratory experience and/or related management experience preferred
Bachelor of Science Degree Required
ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) Certification as a Specialist in Blood Banking (SBB) required.
