JOB DESCRIPTION - CARDIOLOGY ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER (APP) DIRECTOR - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
The APP Director of Cardiology will have the Lead APPs report directly to them. The Director will have advanced leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster professional development, consensus, and engagement with various individuals and groups. The Director will be responsible to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of clinical practice and organizational systems to drive process improvement and positive outcomes. This role will support the Cooper Experience, team member engagement and education and quality outcomes for the organization.
6-10 years of experience in Cardiology and as an APP Leader.
Master's Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant
National certification in APP specialty. NJ APN license or PA license with eligibility for DEA and CDS certificates.
Schedule Days/Hours: Varies; 40-hour work week
