Short Description

Coordinating hospital wide staffing resources while having direct oversight in the allocation and fiscal responsibility of managing these resources to ensure units are able to provide safe patient care. Direct oversight of day to day Working with Operations leaders in providing resources for Patient Care Services

  • Works with manger of operations in maintaining Kronos schedules
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Kronos, a super user, and provide training for new leaders and staff
  • Demonstrates excellent organization skills along with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Works with manager of Operations in Agency Credentialing
  • Participates in the interviewing, onboarding, and performance evaluation of staff
  • Develop and implement processes to enhance employee engagement and retention
  • Time keeping of payroll edits for Pool and CAS staff
  • Maintains staff certifications for Pool and CAS
  • Oversees and manages the ordering and fiscal responsibility of office supplies for the department. Directly works with Purchasing and Accounts Payable for all submitted vouchers. 
  • Verification of nursing licensure renewals for the organization

Experience Required

  • 0-2 years required
  • 3-5 years preferred

Education Requirements

  • High School/GED required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

License/Certification Requirements

  • Communication – Ability to professionally and effectively communicate with patients, visitors and coworkers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
  • Kronos
  • Healthcare Bargaining Unit Contract Guidelines
  • Demonstrates informal leadership qualities
  • Staffing/Scheduling experience
