The Vice President, Revenue Cycle leads the overall strategy, optimization and implementation guidance of revenue cycle operations for Cooper University Health Care’s acute care, outpatient, and professional networks across the health system.
Key areas of responsibility include oversight of the hospital registration, insurance verification, financial counseling, utilization management and discharge planning, revenue integrity, clinical documentation improvement (CDI), health information management, patient financial services, training, and overall collection of patient service revenues across the revenue cycle.
Assists the Clinical team in providing indirect patient care, plus has non patient care responsibilities to include but not limited to turning over rooms, pharmacy/specimen pickup or delivery, setting up equipment for cases and patient transporting.
