Deliver radiation treatment to patients according to the Radiation Oncologist’s prescription 

The Oncology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist performs a variety of clinical, logistical, and operational functions to streamline care for oncology patients at the MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper. Interviews and screen patients prior to MRI procedures to ensure there are no safety concerns/contraindication. Performs MRI procedures following the protocols established by the Radiologists. Begins studies, transfers images, documents patient history and completes studies in EPIC / EMR and PACS system Experience with Cardiac and Pediatrics preferred. Siemens experience preferred. Able to correctly apply MRI compatible monitoring system/IV infusion pump to patients when necessary. The Registered RN is a professional care-giver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self. The Phlebotomy Technician is primarily responsible for collecting specimens for laboratory testing in the inpatient setting. Patients may range from newborn through older adults. Team members are assigned to various inpatient units based on volume and are expected to provide timely and accurate service.
