The Registered RN is a professional caregiver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame. They supervise and provide care to these patients utilizing the nursing process, including the therapeutic use of self.   Key Responsibilities

Accurately and timely prepares all medications, including IV medications, under the direct supervision of the pharmacist as per policy and regulation. Restocks Automated dispensing devices Restocks Carousals Fills Floor stock requisitions Completes expired medication inspections Answers phones to assist in dispensing questions Ensures all medications are properly delivered. Able to breakdown wholesaler order and organize storeroom Organize bulk fluid inventory(s) Flunctionally use the hospital information systems
