Adheres to Departmental procedures, fulfilling compliance with Life, Safety, Fire and Hazardous waste requirements. Triage/Coordinates and performs direct patient care and clinical flow. The Phlebotomy Technician is primarily responsible for collecting specimens for laboratory testing in the inpatient setting. Patients may range from newborn through older adults. Team members are assigned to various inpatient units based on volume and are expected to provide timely and accurate service.
