  Interviews and screen patients prior to MRI procedures to ensure there are no safety concerns/contraindication. Performs MRI procedures following the protocols established by the Radiologists. Begins studies, transfers images, documents patient history and completes studies in GE IDX PACS system. Experience with Cardiac and Pediatrics preferred. Siemens/Toshiba experience preferred. Able to correctly apply MRI compatible monitoring system/IV infusion pump to patients when necessary. The Orthopedic Technician supports the direct patient care clinical activity of the orthopedic surgeons and providers in the orthopedic ambulatory practices. The technologist is responsible to coordinate all activities related to casting, bracing, DME, wound care, suture/staple removal, order and maintaining of supplies, inventory, and care of equipment.
