Responsible for receipt, distribution and delivery of supplies within Cooper Health Care network.
This includes:
- Picking of requisitions orders
- Receipt of Purchase Orders
- Delivery of supplies utilizing truck
- Replenishment of inventory supplies
- Cycle Counting
- Utilizing Lawson/Mobile Supply Chain RF Scanner
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- To provide continuous observation and surveillance of 1:1/Close observation patients while maintaining patient safety. Patient Rounding to ensure equipment efficiency and patient safety.
- Assists in providing direct, indirect, and non-patient care responsibilities.
- Contributes to quality patient care by serving as a significant member of the health care team.
Receives specimens and orders appropriate tests as prescribed; processes samples for laboratory testing using various computer applications. Checks for specimen integrity and proper specimen identification. Prints and distributes reports, answers telephone calls from customers including inpatient nurses/physicians and outpatient clients. Processes specimens for multiple Reference Labs.
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), assists with patients’ activities of daily living and plan of care. Communicates with and supports healthcare team, patients and/or patient’s family or significant other(s). Maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics.
A nonexempt position responsible for the medical assistant care under the supervision of physicians, providers and/or registered nurse(s) in various ambulatory settings. Clinical direction, oversight and competency review are provided by medical providers and ambulatory professional development team in coordination with office management.

Assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated timeframe. Evaluates patients, implements, and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications utilizing the nursing process. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing and current NJ-RN License required. Specific shift requirements apply.
Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens using proper techniques, ensuring accurate labeling, handling, and documentation. Maintain a clean, organized work environment, adhering to safety and infection control protocols. Verify patient information, provide exceptional care, and collaborate with healthcare professionals for timely specimen collection. Assist with additional tasks as needed, all while maintaining a professional and personable demeanor.
The Registered RN is a professional caregiver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self.

- Provide a means of safe vehicular transport for scheduled appointments within the health system. Drives vehicle to and from predetermined destinations obeying all traffic laws and regulations. Recognizes the need for and obtains BLS or ALS units when he/she comes upon a situation that would require these agencies. Deals effectively and ethically in greeting patients.
- Provides proper patient identification prior to transport. Upon arrival, assure that the patient is at the proper destination/department. Assist patients in and out of the vehicle as needed.
