Performs the functions of a Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit as well as Routine Lab procedures including Evoked Potentials.  Additional duties may include routine EEG, at off-site Brace Road office. Will occasionally be a preceptor for students.

Perform the functions of the Neurodiagnostic Technologist in an Epilepsy monitoring unit as well as routine lab procedures including evoked potentials. Additional duties may include routine EEG, at an off-site office. 

Respond to all documentation inquiries related to but not limited to: Coding, charge entry inquiries, IDX registration, scheduling, professional billing, customer service, physician support services. Monitors all missing charges for designated areas.  Provides problem resolution and analysis reports as required.  Effects continuous quality improvement in all requests for additional documentation and registration information.  Responsible for verifying insurances for designated areas and following up as needed.

  The Patient Care Technician provides patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Key responsibilities include observing and reporting patient condition changes, assisting with daily living activities (such as meals and bathing), recording vital signs, measuring fluid intake/output, collecting specimens, and transporting patients within the hospital. They also perform one-on-one monitoring with documentation, demonstrate computer skills, follow physician orders, and use the internal paging and patient call systems. Additional tasks are assigned as needed.
