The Life Support Training Center Instructor is responsible for instructing students within the area they are certified adhering to the guidelines of the American Heart Association and Cooper University Hospital’s Life Support Training Center.  Responsible for setup and breakdown of all instructional material and decontamination of equipment when necessary.  Analysis of student performance and competency depending on course requirements.  Teaches a minimum of four courses per year within their area of expertise.

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), assists with patients’ activities of daily living and plan of care. Communicates with and supports healthcare team, patients and/or patient’s family or significant other(s). Maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics.

3-5 years’ direct experience in customer service and direct patient care model, the ability to exercise sound administrative judgement when needed, a forward thinker and embrace innovation to creatively problem solve and serves as the subject matter expert for high quality concierge customer service. He/she assumes responsibility to ensure access to care is met within the Cooper Integrated Specialist Network. The clinical/admin DPC advocate is the liaison for the DPC clinicians and work directly with patients to schedule appointments and answering/addressing all incoming emails to the DPC practice.
