 Accurately and timely prepares and dispenses all chemotherapy medications, including IV medications, under the direct supervision of the pharmacist as per policy and regulation. Ensures all medications are properly delivered and charged.

     Directly responsible for the trafficking of patients to and from the floors and Critical Care      units to all Radiologic modalities.        Prescreen all requisitions to ensure that patients are not going to receive a duplicate      treatment by bringing those requisitions to the attention of the shift supervisor or lead      technologist in each area.        Make every attempt to coordinate the efforts of the different modalities so patients are      brought to the department once and receive as many of the scheduled procedures as      possible.        Supervise an average of 5 patient transporters in order to expedite patient flow.        Responsible for answering and trafficking all phone calls made directly to the department      and using appropriate phone etiquette.        Able to schedule house patients for some diagnostic studies.

This position primarily provides administrative and clerical support for the Clinical Leaders of the hospitalist and critical care programs at Inspira Vineland/Mullica Hill campus’. Liaison for physicians and patients and supports post discharge follow up  Support the organizational initiatives by helping with patient distribution, onboarding/credentialing new physicians, patient satisfaction and managing census/physician staffing. Strong communication skills necessary and must be detail oriented. Conducts a psycho-social assessment of newly diagnosed cancer patients to identify needs and develop an appropriate social service plan for each client and their family. Care will be rendered to patients of all ages whom experience any injury or illness, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques to safely assess, treat, lift, move and transport patients to appropriate medical facilities. Complete all required documentation and other assigned duties which support efficient EMS operations while maintaining a professional attitude.

Responsible for ensuring all stations are ready for operations, including accuracy, speed and having a sense of urgency. This includes setting up next shift for success. Daily cleaning of respective areas and a clean as you go policy to be enforced. Hosts/hostesses are responsible for requesting two patient identifiers (date of birth and full name of patient) and assisting patient with opening items if required. Hosts/hostesses must ensure condiment boxes are restocked, patient delivery carts are sanitized, etc. COMPLETE ANY OTHER DUTIES/CLEANING AS ASSIGNED Daily cleaning to include: starter stations, , air- curtain refrigerators, host/hostess carts, ice cream freezers, beverage center and any other areas as deemed necessary in patient services. In the retail areas all set-up and breakdown of stations must be cleaned and sanitized between shifts and fully restocked. Everything must be dated and labeled and temps recorded daily – twice per day. All staff members may be asked to perform other tasks and/or temporarily re-assigned to other work areas, as business needs require. Break times are subject to change contingent upon business needs.

The Sr. Child Life Specialist will assess the psychosocial needs of patients and their families to offer and implement supportive, therapeutic interventions such as preparation for health care encounters, procedural support and coping strategies, and opportunities for various types of play. The Sr. Child Life Specialist will be an advocate for pediatric patients and visitors and serve as a resource for other hospital staff in areas of child development, family-centered care, trauma-informed care, age appropriate and developmentally appropriate interactions, and bereavement support. The Sr. Child Life Specialist will be a resource for other staff within the department, using professional expertise to offer support and guidance.   The ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and coworkers.   Responsibilities 1. Provides Child Life services in pediatric units as assigned and in other units as consulted 2. Assesses psychosocial and developmental needs of patients/families and implements or adapts services and goals as needed 3. Utilizes therapeutic interventions such as psychological preparation, procedural support, therapeutic play, medical play, bereavement support, etc. to facilitate coping with hospitalization 4. Provides developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed education and emotional support for children about health care encounters, the hospital environment, new diagnoses or injuries, grief, etc. 5. Documents interventions and services in a timely manner within the patient’s electronic health record 6. Works as part of the multi-disciplinary team to communicate, collaborate, educate, and advocate for patient- and family-centered care 7. Delegates appropriate duties to Activities Assistants and volunteers, supervises practicum students as assigned 8. Co-coordinates monthly education opportunities for staff, mentors new staff throughout the orientation period, assists with the annual department competency process 9. Actively participates in a hospital-based committee or organizational initiative to represent the psychosocial perspective and promote the growth and development of the Child Life Program       10.
