Financial management of awarded grants and contracts.    Works with faculty and staff to prepare accurate effort reports.    Works with faculty and staff to develop administrative and regulatory/compliance components of awarded grants and contracts.    Reviews and seeks approval of budget changes requested by the grant principal investigator/program director.   Maintains and monitors award budget and communicates information to PI/PD.   Collects/prepares and submits reports to funding agency.    Assists Finance in its preparation of the annual A133 and participate in its audit.

Reporting to the Supervisor of the Clinical Documentation Team the Clinical Documentation Educator, through diverse assignments, supports and participates in educational activities to improve of the quality, completeness and accuracy of clinical documentation for Cooper University Physicians (CUP.)

This position is ambulatory focused and travel between all ambulatory locations is required.   • The Infection Prevention (IP) manager shall use a systematic approach to monitor the effectiveness of prevention and control strategies that are consistent with the organization’s goals and objectives.   The IP manager provides oversight and supervision of the Infection Prevention workflow in Outpatient and Ambulatory departments • The IP manager works to establish a healthy and safe environment for the organization by assist in preventing transmission of infectious agents among patients, staff and visitors. They will work in a proactive, interdisciplinary manner, employing continual assessment/surveillance of the environment. They will assist in making modifications to services provided, based on regulations, standards, scientific studies, internal evaluations and evidence-based guidelines. • The IP manager serve as leader, mentor, and role models for their colleagues and assist training Infection Preventionists at level I and II • The IP manager provides oversight on day to-day supervision of the Infection Prevention Department workflow. • The IP manager provides expertise related to infectious diseases process, regulatory needs, and prevention of spread of disease. • The IP manager shall assists on developing a continuous quality improvement, integrated with the hospital quality improvement program. • The IP manager works closely and collaborates with the IP Admin Director and Hospital Epidemiologist, who oversee the development of policies and procedures related to all activities within the Infection Prevention Department; and with the ambulatory leadership on the design and implementation of evidence-based practices in that environment • The IP manager works closely and collaborates with key stakeholders across the hospital to design, implement and sustain infection prevention practices. • The IP manager assists in creating education and specific programs as recommended by the Center for disease and control prevetion and annual infection prevention training for all staff in patient care areas. • The IP manager directly reports to the IP Administrative Director and through them to the VP of Quality & Patient Safety.

Verify eligibility with insurance companies; Communicate with patients and insurance companies regarding co-pays, deductibles, denials, and Cost of Benefit (COB) issues. Resolve accounts timely and effectively. Provides excellent customer service.

 Financially clears scheduled inpatient and outpatient services, including office visits, testing, diagnostic studies, surgeries and procedures, prior to date of service. Financial clearance process encompasses any or all of the following job functions: •Verifies insurance eligibility and plan benefits. •Contacts patients with inactive insurance coverage to obtain updated insurance information •Validates coordination of benefits between insurance carriers. •Explains insurance plan coverage and benefits to patients, as necessary. •Secures insurance authorizations and pre-certs for patient services both internal and external to Cooper. •Creates referrals for patients having a Cooper PCP. Contacts external PCPs to obtain referrals for patients scheduled with Cooper providers. •Refers patients with less than 100% coverage to Financial Screening Navigators. •Identifies copayment, deductible and co-insurance information. •Collects and processes patient liability payments prior to service. Provides clear and concise documentation in systems. Communicates daily with insurance companies, internal customers, providers and patients.

 The Analytics Developer will create reports, data visualizations and analytical solutions that deliver actionable information to business leaders. This position will primarily utilize the Tableau analytics and visualization platform to create, deploy and maintain reusable analytical solutions. Analyze and troubleshoot user issues resulting from the use of analytical solutions developed. Will champion the process of redesigning reports that are manual today and deploying them into the Tableau self-service framework to allow end users to access and use the information on demand.
