The Junior Internal Auditor is responsible for assisting in the implementation of internal audits developed in conjunction with the Internal Audit Department’s review of operational, financial, and clinical activities under the direction of the Director of Internal Audit. The Junior Internal Audit works under supervision while conducting audits of modest complexity and for audits where similar audits have been conducted in the past that are guided by professional auditing standards and ethics. - Conducts audit testing and completing documentation of the work performed. - Collects information to develop audit plans, gathers and later analyzes information during the fieldwork, and reports the findings from the completed tasks to the supervising staff member. - Prepare summaries of the audit procedures performed and the results achieved at the conclusion of each audit. - Assess business systems/processes to identify key control points and risks. - Assist in developing recommendations for remedial action to improve operations within agreed upon implementation schedule. - Conduct follow-up discussion and tests to ascertain whether agreed upon corrective measures have been implemented. - Works on two or three projects concurrently. The priorities for the projects will change depending on the urgency of the task and the auditor’s skill set. - Provides audit planning and fieldwork assistance to other staff and internal audit’s consultants. - Develop and maintains good working relationships. - Independently and proactively identifies and pursues professional development opportunities that align to development needs, current or emerging risks, and assigned audit work plan projects. - Timely reporting of obstacles and provides regular progress reports of overall audits to management.

This position has a strong emphasis on customer service to our patients. Must ensure quality patient scheduling, positive telephone etiquette and customer satisfaction in support of the mission of Cooper University Hospital. Serve as the front line contact person for all incoming patients. Greet, register, schedule, collect point of service copays and provide general information to patients and their families using AIDET. Must have the ability to be organized, take independent action and project Cooper’s values to both customer and co-workers. Serves as patient’s non-clinical navigator during discharge coordination.

Carries out procedures for department functions, including, but not limited to: - Washing, inspecting, packaging, and sterilizing instruments/equipment - Maintaining accurate monitoring records - Using and interpreting chemical and biological indicators - Performs appropriate cleaning of all sterilization equipment - Assisting OR personnel in locating/reprocessing instruments - Participating in performance improvement activities. - Follows established policies & procedures. - Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors. - Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management, and physicians.

*HYBRID REMOTE SCHEDULE AVAILABLE*   Responsible for designing a treatment plan and carrying out dose calculations based on the Radiation Oncologist's prescribed course of radiotherapy or brachytherapy. Responsible for data recording and management related to patient radiotherapy and brachytherapy treatment. Responsible for assisting the Radiation Therapists in the simulation and setup verification of treatment delivery. Responsible for assisting the Medical Physicists in the quality management practices for ensuring appropriate patient treatment and appropriate use of computer hardware and software, and other equipment.

  Minimum 3 year's experience in a healthcare leadership, manager level or above. A combination of education, experience and background may also be considered.   Skill in exercising a high degree of leadership, initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making to achieve local and organizational objectives.   Demonstrated experience in improvement of assigned areas outcomes through creative and sustainable tactics.   Knowledge and ability to utilize electronic health record in order to monitor key practive statistics, patient access metrics and clinic operations.   Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills. Accurately and timely prepares and dispenses all medications under the direct supervision of the pharmacist.Maintains patient medication profiles.Ensures all medications are properly charged.

Responsible for registration functions (such as registration, insurance verification, patient safety and compliance, revenue collections, resource referrals, and customer service) in a fast paced, high volume Emergency Department that provides 24/7 service.

- Greets, guides and manages patients and visitors throughout the campus. - Act as the primary contact for patients, visitors and staff. - Works closely with our courier services, security, staff and leadership within the building/campus. - Level one support and point person in partnership with our leadership, facilities and support services team for property issues. - Assist with customer service requests. - Maintains lobby area including and escalates issues accordingly. - Strong team player with solid organizational skills. - Exceptional service skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Some sitting and standing. Approximately 75% standing or walking. - Performs other related assigned duties as needed.

The trained Surgical technologist, under the direct supervision of the Registered Professional Nurse and/or physician, is assigned as an assistant to specific service areas in the Surgical Suite.

Perform various laundry, patient transport, and environmental duties throughout the hospital. Performs specific cleaning duties to maintain a clean and aseptic environment. Transports patients throughout the facility in a professional, courteous, and timely manner. Performs laundering and related assignments necessary to the collection, processing, and distribution of linen throughout the system. Keeps waiting rooms, lounges, and staff areas tidy. High School diploma or equivalent required.
