Excellent communication skills. Excellent clinical and scientific knowledge of Infection Prevention in a healthcare environment. Must have significant prior experience in both infection prevention and a related field (E.g. nursing, microbiology, epidemiology).
Must have extensive experience with computers/EHRs; and In-Patient/Out-Patient surveillance and reporting systems.
Review every medication order and dosage for completeness, safety and efficacy prior to
dispensing to an individual patient including routine, stat and investigational orders.
Maintain drug information, investigational, educational, cost containment and clinical
programs
Provide pre-hospital Advanced Life Support (ALS) care in all weather conditions, in
cooperation with other EMS providers as a member of the patient care team.
Care will be rendered to patients of all ages whom experience any injury or illness, utilizing
appropriate equipment and techniques to safely assess, treat, lift, move and transport
patients to appropriate medical facilities.
Complete all required documentation and other assigned duties which support efficient
EMS operations while maintaining a professional attitude.
Financial management of awarded grants and contracts.
Works with faculty and staff to prepare accurate effort reports.
Works with faculty and staff to develop administrative and regulatory/compliance components of awarded grants and contracts.
Reviews and seeks approval of budget changes requested by the grant principal investigator/program director.
