Adheres to Departmental procedures, fulfills compliance with life safety, fire and hazardous waste, Radiation Safety, and Infection Control requirements. Maintains Licensure, stays current and participates departmental training offered. Performs procedures (Portables, E.R., Trauma, Fluoro OR and General) as needed. Demonstrates courteous behavior, positive attitude, etc. through polite communication with all co- workers/guests. Understands and appreciates the need to provide good customer service, both internal and external. Maintains work area: Reports maintenance issues for equipment, monitors supplies and deficiencies, maintains paperwork particular to each department/office. Participates in clinical activities (i.e. assists with patient flow/care, helps to optimize throughput of patients via Radiology Ambassador team. Remains compliant of timekeeping rules: Avoids early, late and unauthorized entries. Attends greater than 80% of staff meetings to staff informed and supports initiatives.
Assists interventionalists in all procedures within the scope of interventional Radiology and Vascular surgery to include but not limited to oncology, vascular and trauma.
Skill set must be maintained to handle supplies/instrumentation associated with interventional procedures. Must be able to assist physicians in the capacity of both a scrub and circulating technologist.

Adheres to all Infection Prevention policies, utilizing the appropriate PPE needed.
Maintains licensure and BLS. Stays current and participates departmental training offered.

Attends staff meetings and reviews daily huddles to keep current on department communications.
Responsible for supporting the ED clinical team in provision of patient care. This includes environmental readiness, assistance with procedures/care, carrying out specific duties, and effective communication. Support departmental initiatives including but not limited to patient throughput and customer service initiatives.
Accurately and timely prepares and dispenses all medications under the direct supervision of the pharmacist.Maintains patient medication profiles.Ensures all medications are properly charged.
Conduct interviews with patients and families to insure insurance coverage which includes
obtaining benefit information and pre-certification.
Make referrals to financial assistance services for patients with less than 100% coverage.
This position will also perform Scheduling duties when needed.
Evaluation, assessment and treatment of patients in the hospital or outpatient setting. Communication with patients, families and other members of the health care team.

Triage/Coordinates and performs direct patient care and clinical flow.
Prepares patients for providers, assisting with exams, assisting provider with suture
preparation, carrying out orders, (i.e.; various supplies/tests/ X-Rays/dispensing of
medications.)
Provides health assessments, preps for physicals, completes calibration of equipment, and
performs various testing to include,(Pod’s, Respiratory approvals, Spirometry, Audiograms,
EKG's, Drug Testing, Timms testing, Breath and Saliva Alcohols, Venipuncture etc.
Enters and oversees data entry with SYSTOC computer system.
Stocks and orders medications and medical/surgical supplies.
Reviews physical/tests results with provider and handles phone calls (i.e.; case
management, testing/physical results).
Coordinates with Director of Maintenance; acts as a direct supervisor over department personnel on a daily basis and oversees that direction from Director is implemented as required.
Ensures employee performance meets or exceeds expectations and periodic performance appraisals are conducted on a timely basis.
Assess conditions and diagnose technical and mechanical problems.
Lead staff during projects and repairs including carpentry, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing.
Maintenance and/or beautification of facility and grounds.
Oversees safety and preventative maintenance.
Coordinates and oversees activities of outside contractors, trades people in construction, repair and maintenance of physical plant and equipment.
Checks the quality of work to ensure it is up to code and specifications.
Makes prompt efforts to resolve all staff concerns or grievances related to facilities and conditions under the incumbent's direction.
Maintains time and cost records; schedules vacation, relief, and emergency coverage; Leads and manages compliance (Joint Commission, NJDOH, local, etc.).
Will be expected to be on a rotating on-call schedule.
Performs additional duties requested in order to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Campus.
Assists in the work direction of other mechanics, facility staff, trades helpers, and/or other skilled trades, as needed.
Is responsible to ensure that the work orders are performed in a fashion that meets customers' expectations.
Works to educate staff on communication as necessary to please customers with the execution and timing of the work.
Monitor status of equipment and make recommendations for capital budget process.
The Advanced Practice Nurse assumes responsibility for advanced nursing practice within a clinical specialty. In consultation with other members of the health care team, strengthens nursing practice and promotes positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities include clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research. The Advanced Practice Nurse serves as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in the inpatient, outpatient and community settings.
