The Clinical Nurse Manager will provide the knowledge, skill, and expertise necessary to successfully support the daily operations of the clinical unit while supporting unit alignment with organizational mission, vision, and goals. - Support and maintain successful unit-based throughput efforts through the facilitation of appropriate and timely bed assignments resulting in fair, safe, and balanced clinical workloads for all clinical team members.

Ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors and employees as well as protect and preserve property interests of the Cooper Health System.

Assumes responsibility for record keeping, and intra-departmental and Inter-departmental communications.

Appointment scheduling to patients PCP within 7 days or discharges.  If patient has no PCP, assist with obtaining PCP and schedule appropriate appointment within set guidelines   Facilitatepatient discharge from 24/7 Emergency Department by coordinating/scheduling follow-up appointments  

This role requires rotating through all locations (Camden, CDHI, VSC, MSC, and all others as assigned). Anesthetic Locations: Main Operating Room in Camden (30-bed) with 100 average daily caseloads. Multiple Camden outside of OR sites (OB, GI, EP Lab, TEE, Neuro IR, Bronch, Pain, IR, MRI, PAT Clinic, Trauma/Emergency Alert responses), Cooper Digestive Health Center (4-bed) & Voorhees Surgery Center (5-bed), Moorestown Surgery Center, and others as assigned.
