Short Description

ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER (APP) - Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant - Cardiology Outpatient - Cape Regional Medical Center 

 

The Advanced Practice Provider - APP (Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant) assumes responsibility for providing advanced medical care practice within a clinical specialty and the scope of education.

In consultation with other members of the health care team, strengthens advanced medical care practice and promotes positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research.

The Advanced Practice Provide serves as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in the inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.

 

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Nursing - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

License/Certification Requirements

New Jersey Advanced Practice Nurse & Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant license

American Heart Association BLS certification

Special Requirements

Schedule - Days/Hours: Full Time - 40 hours weekly
