Short Description

The Benefits Analyst position will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing employee benefits plans. Must have Proven ability to successfully understand and administer group benefit plans and processes, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, flexible spending account, 403(b) plans, leaves, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA Health Care Reform and Wellness Plans, all aspects of the day-to-day benefits administration, managing annual open enrollment and ensuring compliance with all legal regulations, best practices, and company policies and procedures.
Facilitates benefits enrollment and administrative processes.

 

Prepares and processes claims, invoices, enrollments, and other benefit filings. Coordinates informational session. Responds to inquiries for information and provides, forms, instructions and other enrollment materials to employees.

Experience Required

Minimum 3-5 years in benefits administration or in a Human Resources generalist role.Strong analytical, research, problem-solving skills and attention to detail and accuracy.    

 

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a high volume work environment. Ability to work both independently and interact collaboratively as part of a team.

Excellent verbal, written, communication and analytical skills.  Extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365, Excel and Word required.

 

Hospital or healthcare experience preferred.

Education Requirements

Four-year college degree in related field or combination of equivalent training and experience in benefits administration.
