This position is responsible for converting uninsured and under insured patients and qualifying them for Charity Care, Medicaid or Medicare. This position works effectively with County Offices, Social Workers, Doctors, Legal and with Finance and must attend all pertinent meetings. They must also prepare and oversee all Charity Care audits and ensure the results are successful in order to receive a passing score. Provide guidance to ensure accounts are Converted to the agreed upon KPI (Uninsured, Charity Care and/or Medicaid programs). Meet with Senior Leadership to report on performance on a quarterly bases. Establish strong working relationships with ED Staff, Social Workers etc. Demonstrates ability to set goals and assign priorities. Anticipate problems, and achieve results. Completes assignments on time.
6-10 years experience required.
High School Diploma required. Bachelors or Masters preferred.
