Short Description: Per Diem Cooper Emergency Department APN/PA

• A wonderful opportunity for an experienced Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant looking to serve patients in a busy urban emergency department fast track type setting.
• Shift Type: 12 hours; 8am-8pm
• Work autonomously in our state of the art “iTrack” evaluating ESI level 4 & 5 and low acuity level 3 patients.
• Provide care to a variety of common health conditions for ages 18 and older including suturing, draining abscesses, interpreting x-rays and EKGs, splinting, URI’s, UTI’s, musculoskeletal injuries, etc.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in an Emergency Department.
• Qualifications include experienced APN from a certified Family APN program or certified Physician Assistant program, ability to function autonomously, ability to assess acuity of patients, diagnose and treat common minor illnesses/conditions. Must be board certified and licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey.

Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in an Emergency Department.

Master's - Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant.

License Requirements:

• Degree Required: Master’s in Nursing/Physician Assistant Degree
• Required License/Certifications/ Registration:
• NJ Physician Assistant Or Family Advanced Practice Nurse Licensed.
• Current NJ-BLS Certification
• NCCPA certification is required for Physician Assistants
