About Us

The Department of Cooper Family Medicine is a part of Cooper University Health Care and provides Primary Care Services to the communities of Southern New Jersey. We are a large Academic department of about 30 health care providers comprising Physicians and Advanced Practice Professionals located at thirteen clinical sites in South Jersey. 

 

We cover a large geographical area including practices within 30 minutes to Philadelphia and Trenton.  Department faculty have the opportunity to be actively involved in the Family Medicine Residency Program at Cooper Health and medical student education for Cooper Medical School at Rowan University. Our providers participate in an Accountable Care Organization with a population health team to support our providers.  We have a dedicated team of Primary Care Providers with a shared mission of to “To Serve, To Heal, To Educate.”

Short Description

  • Provide Primary Care Services in outpatient offices
  • Willingness to float between office locations throughout Southern NJ
  • Commit to a minimum of 8-12 hours a week with the option to pick up additional hours, if desired

We have robust Addiction Medicine services at Cooper and Integrative Behavioral Health. Cooper University Health Care has a strong and wide network of medical and surgical subspecialists to meet patients' comprehensive needs.

 

Our primary care team is supported by an interdisciplinary staff of medical assistants, LPNs, health coaches, and community health workers. We have robust Addiction Medicine services at Cooper and Integrative Behavioral Health. Cooper University Health Care has a strong and wide network of medical and surgical subspecialists to meet patients' comprehensive needs.

 

Education Requirements

M.D. or D.O. degree

License/Certification Requirements

Board Certification in Family Medicine
