Short Description

ADVANCED PRACTICED PROVIDER (APP) - Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant - Surgery Inpatient - Camden, NJ 

 

This Surgery position will have a broadened service coverage to include Urology, ENT and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

 

Assume responsibility of the Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nursing Practitioner) and provides quality care to surgery patients across the continuum in collaboration with physicians, nursing staff and other members of the care team. Functions as a clinician, educator and researcher in the outpatient and inpatient settings. Serve as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in the inpatient, outpatient and community settings.

Education Requirements

Masters - Nurse Practitioner (APN) or Physician Assistant (PA)

License/Certification Requirements

License (or Certification): NJ-APN & RN or NJ PA and AHA BLS is required.

Nurse Practitioner must be Acute Care certified.

Special Requirements

Scheduled Days / Hours: Full Time night shift; 12-hour shifts (varies); rotating weekends.
