Experience Required

  • Promptly and professionally answers telephone calls
  • Provides a complete explanation of testing instructions and preparations
  • Schedules services, ensuring all aspects of appointments are appropriate and accurate, including patient demographics and appointment details.
  • Obtains and records patient insurance, prescription, referral and other financial clinical documents
  • Verifies insurance eligibility and ensures that insurance requirements are met prior to delivery of service.

Education Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent

Special Requirements

  • Previous data entry/typing experience, knowledge of basic office equipment, computer experience
  • Must be proficient in Word/Excel and EMR, have good organizational skills and have experience with multi-line telephone system
