To work collaboratively with internal and external team members to assess, plan, develop, and ultimately deliver innovative reporting and analytics solutions that aim to improve clinical outcomes, efficiency, and/or decision making.
To leverage clinical and technical expertise and tenets of process improvement to continuously advance clinical reporting and analytics in terms of accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness in collaboration with organizational clinical and data stakeholders.
To support, educate, and guide technical clinical reporting and analytics resources throughout development cycle.
To manage intake, prioritization, and assignment of projects and initiatives aligning with organizational goals.
Oversight of all clinical reporting and analytics projects from request solicitation to completion such as: garnering of project requirements to facilitate efficient development, determination of most appropriate reporting/analytics deliverable based on project requirements, effective communication with technical direct reports to ensure efficient development, and management of timelines and expectations for partnering project stakeholders.
Works collaboratively with stakeholders in all areas of the organization to promote effective clinical reporting and analytics solutions that encourage organizational efficiency, performance, and quality improvement.
Serves as a resource to all members of the Medical Informatics & Population Intelligence staff; removing barriers and escalating issues to director/senior leader when appropriate.
Development of policies, procedures, and standards for managing clinical data assets, with a focus on clinical data governance as it pertains to clinical data sources (i.e. Epic, payor claims, etc.).
Effective training and mentorship of clinical reporting and analytics developers on key technical capabilities to ensure consistency and best practice adherence throughout the technical development cycle.
Serve as a clinical data expert via participation in the development and deployment of reporting and analytics solutions, provision of end-user training across the various tools used to deliver analytical products, and identification of new opportunities for improvement pertaining to clinical reporting and analytics.
Effective identification and allocation of technical resources to ensure all project deliverables meet highest quality standards.
In collaboration with Epic Technical Support representatives, Medical Informatics and Health IT partners, continuous evaluation and optimization of Epic Cogito and related Epic applications to ensure efficient implementation of current features and capabilities to promote Epic Adoption and analytical best-practices.
6-10 years of experience
Experience must be clinical, business intelligence, or informatics related.
Bachelor's degree Required Master's Degree Preferred.
1+ Epic certification/accreditation in Cogito Application, Clarity Data Model, or Caboodle Data Model
